The Safran TAD (Thermal Augmentation Device) is a compact, lightweight thermal overlay module designed to enhance night-vision performance and situational awareness. By fusing long-wave infrared (LWIR) thermal imagery with existing image-intensified night-vision devices, the TAD provides users with unmatched detection capability in complete darkness, smoke, dust, or camouflage conditions—all without requiring new helmet setups or extensive integration.


Ideal for military, law enforcement, and professional night-operations, the TAD seamlessly clips onto popular NVDs like the PVS-14, PVS-31, and GPNVG, delivering thermal clarity through multiple viewing modes including Full Thermal, Outline, and High-Contrast.
